Freedom 250

On June 12 I had the pleasure of serving as the MC, Mistress of Ceremonies, for Freedom 250, an event that brought together Polish, American, and Ukrainian Fulbright teams! After the official welcome, I was beautifully introduced by our wonderful Ewa Czarnojan, the Executive Director of Fulbright Poland. We began the evening with inspiring keynote speeches from Prof. Anna Mazurkiewicz and Dr. Rymma Mlynkova, who shared their stories of resilience and collaboration. We also had the chance to listen to “Tales from Warsaw,” a magnificent piece composed by Kevin Li, a U.S. Student Researcher to Poland who graduated from the program earlier that day! Congratulations! The piece was performed by talented students from Fryderyk Chopin Academy. Then, we enjoyed a powerhouse performance from Dr. Stan Breckenridge and his incredible Quartet, which had us all dancing in our seats! It was an honor to share the stage with so many wonderful people who truly make our Fulbright community one of a kind! 💙 Special thank you to Anna Kertyczak and Ola Braumańska for organization!
