Julia Stachura is an art historian, independent curator, and Fulbright Ambassador. In 2025, she completed her PhD studies at the School of Humanities at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In 2023–24, she was a Fulbright Junior Research Award grantee at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She has curated exhibitions in Poland and the United States, collaborating with art institutions and non-governmental organizations. Her research and curatorial practice focus on the photography of BIPOC women artists and artists from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as on the invisibility of power structures and the tangibility of memory.
